Shaded outdoor dining
This project involved creating a new patio area using colourful Indian sandstone
The client wanted to make use of an area of their garden that was under used. After various design ideas were discussed, the client decided on using Indian Sandstone to bring a shady and secluded spot to life.
The design was prepared after a survey was completed. The design was prepared using SketchUp and presented to the customer for agreement. The site had stepped levels and required ramps to be created to allow access. Protection boards were laid to protect existing turfed areas and existing planting was protected using netting. A new patio was created using a random pattern of coloured Indian Sandstone with neutral jointing that brought this shady area to life.
The client also wanted a woodland path through their garden upgraded from muddy turf to shingle with extra long life treated timber edging with hardcore foundations lined with core path membrane.
The customer Yvette and Nick said: "We are delighted with our new patio. Jason was very professional, keeping us informed at all times and checking that we were happy with everything. We would certainly use him again."
